Louise Gevers was born and grew up in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
She studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where she obtained her B.A. degree, and at the University of South Africa where she obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
In addition to her full-time role as mother and mother-in-law to five beautiful children, and actively participating with her husband in his ministry in the Presbyterian Church and Bible Society of South Africa, she taught French, English and Life Orientation at Durban Girls’ High School and, before that, pre-school at Stella Pre-primary School in Durban. She currently lives in Loevenstein in the Western Cape with her husband, Dirk.
She is passionate about the Bible, enjoys writing and Christian Apologetics, loves reading, learning, cooking, gardening and walking the dogs.
