I work with the Bible Society of Uganda as a Translator in the Rufumbira Bible Translation Project. I am a Teacher, Poet, Author, editor, and Proofreader. I have a passion in expressing my thoughts in writing.
I have taught English Language and Literature in English for more than five years in secondary school.
I am also a mentor and Teacher Trainer and I likes spending time with children, telling stories and writing poems.
I am the last born among 10 children. I am born to Christian parents who were teachers. I lost my mother in 2013. This experience of losing someone close has enhanced my spiritual growth.
My first encounter with the Lord was at eight years in 1993 during a Christian convention, at the Dioceses of Muhabura in Kisoro District in Uganda during Sunday school. Since then, with the help of my parents, Sunday school teachers and other church ministers, I have developed a strong personal relationship with God.
I have written a series of Rufimbira readers for Children ages seven to ten years that are based on the thematic curriculum including of the Ugandan system.
I am also yet to publish my first anthology of poems with the title, ‘in a village where I come from.’
I love the Lord. I use the skills that God has given me to minister and tell of the goodness of the lord.
