Afia and her husband, Pastor Kwabena Darkwa, who is the Senior Pastor at Crossroads Community Church, are involved in spiritual formation and theological training of pastors and other workers of the Church, especially independent Churches.
The discipleship of Children and Young people is her ministry focus. Additionally Afia Currently serves as the General Secretary of Oikosnet Africa: The Association of Christian Lay Centres in Africa (promoting Lay Leadership development).
